Récit de ma "rencontre" avec Elvis...

Comme tout le monde, je connaissais Elvis Presley au moins de nom... Comme tout le monde, côté discographie je savais qu'il avait rendu célèbre des titres tels que "Blue Suede Shoes", "Love me tender", ou encore "Hound dog". Comme tout le monde malheureusement, j'avais l'habitude de le voir dans des images d'archives affublé de costumes patte d'eph' disco-psychédéliques et totalement kitch. Puis un jour, un reportage sur ses débuts, sur sa musique (la TV peut instruire, la preuve...). Le coup de foudre musical !! Elvis c'est avant tout le 1er blanc à avoir popularisé la musique noire aux USA.
Les --- : les auteurs de toutes ces magnifiques chansons (la plus grande partie du répertoire d'Elvis au début de sa carrière étant des reprises), n'ont pas touché 1 centime de droits d'auteur pour la plupart.
Star mondiale dès 1956 (RCA records), voici ce qu'ils ont dit de lui : John Lennon: « Ma plus grande ambition dans la vie était d'être comme Elvis Presley ». James Brown: « Elvis a appris à l'Amérique blanche à s'éclater ». Bruce Springsteen: « Un soir ma mère a regardé l'émission Ed Sullivan Show, où Elvis a joué. Je suis sorti pour m'acheter une guitare dans la foulée... ».

I love reading this blog about my itllte niecey (and of course, the things you write about the big sister niecey too!) because I feel that I am not missing as much of Joy's day-to-day life. To me, this story sounds like a pretty big deal for Joy. It sure shows that she does have some good things going on in her brain even if she doesn't let on to those around her that often. Too bad you didn't have the camera in hand cuz I would love to have seen Joy with that chewy ball in her mouth! I also wonder if she will develop this as part of the routine, holding something in the other hand that she has to put down or hold another way.Give Joy and Rose a big hug and kiss from AuntieS!!
My wife's entire flmiay worships Elvis. One has an All-Elvis wet bar with all of the Elvi tunes. Another has a living room dedicated to Jelly Donut, White Disco Fat Elvis. Of course, I have to rag on him at flmiay gatherings. Makes me popular.

Because the only reason they do this is for views. If you have seen any video with a couple million views, most likely they illegally used music. A video is a video without music and most kids these days aren't ready to open a sound studio just for a stupid video. I have many videos on youtube with illegal sound. I know it's not good, but I do it anyway. I just put in some stupid music to kick up the amount of views. I try to get music made by my friends or people online that say I can use it as long as I give them credit. I personally think that it's like free advertising. More than once I have heard a song on a video and wanted to buy it. So basically teens don't think.
